SVAC Clinic at Smallwood with Coach Chase
Are you looking for improving your stroke technique?  Looking to build a healthy habit for you child?  Join Coach Chase's technique clinic starting Tuesday, August 3.
This is for swimmers age 8-12 who already know how  to swim, but would like to refine their stroke, start, turn, and other techniques!

Swim Lessons
We are running 4 sessions this year, each with 4 classes. Classes are limited to 10 students each.

  • Session 1 = June 21 - July 1 (July 2 rain date)
  • Session 2 = July 12 - July 22 (July 23 rain date)
  • Session 3 = July 26 - August 5 (August 6 rain date)
  • Session 4 = August 9 - August 19 (August 20 rain date)

Fees for 2021 are $60 for pool members/ $70 for non-members. Payment can be made via PayPal (Smallwoodpool@yahoo.com), or by cash or check at the pool. Full payment is due by the first day of class.
The 4 class times are:
  • 9:00 - 9:30am
  • 9:30 - 10:00am
  • 10:00 - 10:30am
  • 10:30 - 11:00am

LEARN TO SWIM LEVELS
Level 1 - Introduction to Water Skills - Age 3+
  • For the beginner who is comforatable.
  • Swimmers learn basics of swimming: bobbing, going under water, supported front and back floating, supported rolling over from front to back and back to front, supported gliding, supported flutter kick, supported front crawl and jumping in.

Level 2 - Fundamental Aquatic Skills - Age 4+
  • Swimmers should already be able to float on front and back and put their head under water.
  • Swimmers will work on: independent front and back floating, independent rolling over from front to back and back to front, independent front and back glides, front crawl arms and kicks, back crawl arms and kicks, retrieving underwater objects, and jumping into water over their head.

Level 3 - Stroke Development - Ages 5-6+
  • Swimmers should already be comfortable swimming front stroke and swimming on their back.
  • Swimmers will work on: gliding, freestyle with side breathing, backstroke, breast stroke and dolphin kicks, retrieving objects in deeper water, treading water, jumping into deep water and compact dives.
  • Level 3 swimmers could consider joining the Junior Marlins Swim Team

Level 4-6 - Consider joining Marlins Swim Team
  • Swimmers should already be able to swim front and back crawl 25 yards.

Adult Swim Lessons
